Schematic bicycle maps paper out in ERC

Our paper “Maps are good but are simpler maps better? Insights on urban bicycling in the US” is now published in Environmental Research Communications (8(2), 025004). We ran a national survey of cyclists to understand whether simplified schematic maps actually change how people navigate and choose routes — turns out the answer is more nuanced than expected. Worth a read if you work on cycling infrastructure or behavior.
